We are sure all of you have heard of the new mystery illness sweeping our nation. While this is still a seemingly relatively new illness and we don’t have much information on it, we have compiled different articles for those who are seeking more information. As we learn more, we will keep this page updated with the latest news.

For now, our protocol changes for our facility will be:

Dogs who attend other dog facilities or visit dog parks will not be allowed to attend A Dog’s Best Friend. To minimize risk of exposure, wee are asking that if you bring your dog to A Dog’s Best Friend for daycare/training/boarding that you do not bring your dog to other dog facilities or dog parks.
All dogs will be screened for symptoms upon arrival. If any dogs are showing symptoms ( coughing, discharge form eyes/nose, sneezing, choking, extreme lethargy) they will not be allowed inside the facility.
If dogs start showing symptoms after entering the facility they will be immediately isolated and owners called to pick up.
We will continue to be diligent in our cleaning and sanitizing practices. Our facilities both have air scrubbers and purifiers.
