Real World, Real Experience

Why Board & Train?

Mastery of Obedience: Board & Train covers mastery of obedience skills paired with e-collar communication, all practiced and proofed in the places you’ll need these skills the most. Mastery of commands such as sit, down, heel, out, place and recall can set you and your dog up for successful outings - and open the door of opportunities for things you can take your dog to do with you!

Real World Experience: Our Board & Train program is centered around giving your dog real experience practicing and proofing their new skillset. We talk to you about the lifestyle you want with your dog - and plan outings accordingly. From farmers markets to off leash trails, we structure our program to fit your family’s goals. Our Board & Train program is based out of a real home - so we are able to address in-home specific struggles and work through them.

Working Through Hard Behaviors: Our award winning and experienced trainers have worked with dogs with many different types of difficult behaviors. Demand barking, resource guarding and leash reactivity are just a few examples of hard behaviors that can be worked through and successfully resolved or managed with time and consistency after training. If your dog is explosive on leash, if it is hard to have people come to your home, if walks and outings are stressful - call us to talk about how Board & Train can address these behaviors.

Reliable Training = Freedom: If you want to give your dog the world, you will need to be their guide through it. This program is geared to teach you and your dog how to facilitate a well balanced relationship that will allow you the freedom to do all the things you love with your dog, while trusting in their behavior and having the tools necessary to keep them safe.

We live in a world where there are SO many options for adventure with your Best Friend! Having solid and reliable training is a must if you want to keep adventures fun and safe. Tools like an e-collar can allow us to give our dog the freedoms that come along with being off the leash and out and about, while guiding them as to how to navigate those freedoms.

Remember -your dog isn’t born knowing how to navigate the world. It is up to us to show them!

Reliable training with the correct tools can set you and your dog up for a lifetime of healthy communication, a healthy relationship, and the ability to enjoy all of the freedoms that come along with being able to trust in your dog’s training.

How do the Humans Learn?

Our Board & Train Program is structured to have our award winning trainers do all of the teaching and training for you.

Upon completion of your dog’s Board & Train program, you and your family participate in a go-home private lesson with your trainer. This covers what your dog has learned, how to use their new tools and how to implement their new structure as they go home to you, setting them up for success as they settle into their new training at home with you.

Follow up lessons are also included in the Board & Train program to ensure you have all of the support needed after training if anything should arise. Once you do Board & Train, you have our support for life!

Our Board & Train graduates have access to two events a month, with our training team available for support. One Pack Walk, and one Patio/Group event.
