Drop-Off:

During this time, it is important to make this as uneventful as possible. A daycare attendant will be in our lobby to check your dog in, they will take your pup on leash and walk them back into the facility! Big goodbyes can make your dog nervous or unsure about entering a new facility. The best thing you can do for your pup is act like this is no big deal! If you need assistance getting your dog out of the car please park in the closest spot to our lobby doors. These are labeled car side service, park here and we will come get your dog from your car.
Please follow these guidelines when bringing your dog into our lobby: NO on leash greetings with other dogs, keep your dog leashed and under control at all times, keep same amount of space between yourself and others when waiting for your dog to be checked in!
During the day:
Your dog will be tried in multiple playgroups, with all different kinds of dogs. We want to see their play style, who they enjoy playing with and their reaction to dogs of different breeds, sizes and temperaments. In between different playgroups they will do rest breaks individually. This gives your dog a moment to themselves to rest and relax before joining another playgroup. Our focus in this is having quality playgroups with dogs who are engaged and not over tired. No news from us is good news! If you are curious as to how your dog is doing, feel free to check out webcams or text/call us at 360.737.6439 for an update.
Pick-Up:
Pick-Up is 3:00 - 6:00pm
Come into our lobby, let us know who you’re here for and we will bring your dog out to you! You will receive an update on how their day went well as a report card sent via email. If you need assistance getting your dog out of the car please park in the closest spot to our lobby doors. These are labeled car side service, park here and we will bring your dog to your car.
Please follow these guidelines when picking up your dog. No on leash greetings with other dogs, keep your dog leashed and under control at all times, keep a safe amount of space between yourself and other when taking your dog out of the lobby.
After your dog’s evaluation:
You will receive a report card with an update on your dog’s day and a link to book future reservations! After your dog’s evaluation it is normal for your dog to go home and drink lots of water - they have access to water all day here, however, sometimes they are so excited to be here they forget to stop for water breaks. Sore paw pads and sore muscles can be totally normal after a full day of play. Sometimes, dogs go home and fall asleep eating dinner they are so tired - sometimes they take a quick nap and are ready to go again!
Your dog must attend daycare a minimum of one time per year to stay current in their evaluation. If it has been over a year since your dog’s last reservation they will need to complete a new behavioral evaluation before attending daycare or overnight boarding.
You can book doggy daycare and sleepovers online through the client portal. If you have questions about training programs or extracurriculars like our enrichment program, yearbook club and more - please ask a team member or contact us via text or email.
ADBF Daycare Rules & Regulations:
ALL vaccinations must be up to date with records from a veterinary office.
No on-leash greetings in our lobby. While your dogs might play in daycare, often times dogs are uncomfortable meeting on leash.
No retractible leashes.
ALL dogs are required to be on veterinary prescribed flea and tick prevention. If fleas are found on a dog they will immediately be removed from daycare, and given a full flea treatment at the cost of the owner.
Daycare drop-off ends strictly at 9:30am, we will not accept dogs after this time.
During this time, we are not allowing dogs to participate in daycare if they have been to a dog park or different daycare facility within the past 14 days due to a newer strain of Canine Infectious Respiratory Disease. Visit www.adogsbff.com/acird for more information.
If your dog is coughing, sneezing, wheezing or just doesn’t feel well - keep them home! If a dog in daycare shows any of these symptoms they will immediately be removed from playgroup, isolated and owner called to pick up.
Making sure your best friend has fun, and keeping them safe, is our number one priority! Thank you for respecting our rules and regulations to ensure everybody is able to enjoy daycare.
